Vista Users - New or Upgrading: All Vista users and all existing XP users upgrading to Vista must review security rights and conversion procedures for existing ScoutSoft XP users prior to upgrading your computer to Vista. Vista Users - New or Upgrading from XP - ALL VISTA USER MUST HAVE FULL ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS - Vista is a new operating system with increased user level security different from XP. Existing ScoutSoft XP users must, prior to upgrading their computer to Vista, make a Sponsor Update file in Maintenance/Export Data from ScoutSoft and save the file to an external drive. They should uninstall ScoutSoft from their computer and after upgrading to Vista download and install the ScoutSoft Vista version and then load back in the Sponsor Update file (Maintenance/Load Data into ScoutSoft) they created before upgrading their computer to Vista. All Vista users running ScoutSoft must have full Administrator rights inorder to use ScoutSoft or file damage may occur.
